Pierre describes himself as a passionate creator, because without passion this work cannot be done: it is like a calling, to which he has been drawn since childhood. The craft of the parfumeur consists of selecting and combining raw materials to create unmistakable essences.

"The parfumeur is like a painter: a painter has a palette of colors and with just two of them can create infinite shades. The parfumeur must have at least 2,500 raw materials, as many of natural origin as possible because they are unmatched in quality and intensity."

Born in Rome and raised in France, Pierre Stéphane Rubis worked in his youth at the prestigious Maison Tombarel Frères, which specialized in producing natural raw materials: Jasmine, Rose, Violet… the very flowers we find in his fragrances today.
