Brand Profile
In three years VITELLI has positioned itself as one of the most “international” brands emerging from the Milanese scene, connected to the new wave of conscious designers through collaborations brought to the Paris Fashion Week (with Neith Nyer, finalist at the Andam Awards) and New York Fashion Week (with Barragàn, CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund finalist), and joined the official calendar of Camera della Moda since June 2019.
Vitelli has been featured on some of the most relevant fashion and luxury magazines in the world starting from American Vogue, Another Magazine, iD, Dazed, Buffalo Zine, Twin Magazine and the Italian Vogue, Hunter Magazines, Alla Carta, and Elle. A special project with the French magazine Novembre will be realised during Paris Fashion Week.
In May 2019, in collaboration with CFDA, Vitelli represented Camera della Moda as one of the 5 best emerging Italian brands with an installation on the New York High Line.
In January 2020 Vitelli was invited together with the 10 best emerging British designers to the London Showrooms, a collaboration between Camera della Moda and British Fashion Council.
For the occasion, Vitelli presented an innovative upcycling technique: consisting in a knit-fabric hybrid, 100% sustainable, “Doomboh” garments are obtained through a particular needle-punching of reclaimed yarns, locally collected from the Vicenza knitwear production waste.
In February 2020, during New York Women’s Fashion Week, Vitelli has presented a new collaboration, again with an emerging star from the New York non-binary art scene: Vaquera.
Together with the American brand, a showroom was set in Paris during the last Women’s Fashion Week before lock-down.
Though the distribution was severely affected by the current pandemic, Vitelli last collection captured the attention of international top retailers, in particular Dover Street Market, H Lorenzo, 10CorsoComo, Joyce among others.
