Brands to watch and must-sees at FRAGRANZE 23
This September, Fragranze will shine a spotlight on a curated selection of new launches, standout brands, and key players in the fragrance world known for their quality and originality.
Among the highlights are two new brands distributed by Calé. The first is Saranghaeyo (Korean for “I love you”), the brainchild of photographer and entrepreneur Sung S. Kim. This project takes the form of an olfactory diary: each fragrance is tied to a place, a short text, and a specific year. The result is a collection that is refined, minimalist, and elegant—capable of evoking deep emotions and reliving powerful memories.
Also from Korea is Pesade, a brand born from the collaboration between founder Mok Young-kyo and artist Kwango Lee. This fragrance concept explores the discovery of inner strength and potential through scent. Both aesthetically and olfactorily, it is inspired by the art of dressage – a symbol of harmony between strength and balance. Pesade will also be showcased in its own dedicated booth.

Olfattorio has chosen Fragranze for the debut of a new creation from Antinomie, a brand born in 2022 from a collaboration with perfumers Pierre-Constantin Guéros and Bertrand Duchaufour. Also being introduced is MiN New York, founded by Chad Murawczyk in 1999. Although the brand is based in New York, each fragrance is meticulously handcrafted in Grasse. In addition to perfumes, the brand also offers bath products and candles.
In the Alcatraz space, Essenses presents SCENTSCAPE, an artistic installation showcasing the prestigious brands in its portfolio. Several debut brands and new fragrances will be featured here.

Among them is D:Sol, a fragrance house born in Berlin from the creative vision of beauty and communications expert Dennis Werner. Drawing inspiration from the atmospheres of Mallorca and Berlin, D:Sol’s collection evokes sunlight, warmth, and the emotional depth of sun-drenched memories.
Another exciting name is L’Entropiste, a brand created by renowned perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour. Each fragrance begins with a raw material examined beyond its physical properties – deconstructed and reassembled to form a new olfactory harmony through transformation.
At the Stazione Leopolda also the new fragrances by Sora Dora, a house backed by four generations of perfumery expertise. Each scent in the collection tells a story, taking wearers on a sensory journey that blends tradition with modernity.
Essenses will also present Marie Jeanne, a maison established in Grasse in 2014 by Georges Maubert. With a strong commitment to traceability and sustainability, Marie Jeanne oversees every production phase – from cultivation to harvest – ensuring all ingredients are sourced responsibly. From tuberose fields in Grasse to orange blossoms picked in Morocco, every element is selected with sustainable farming practices in mind. The packaging reflects this ethos: minimalist and eco-friendly.
