State of Mind is a collection of 11 fragrances and 11 teas. Each fragrance has a matching tea and visa versa.
With this collection State of Mind challenges the barriers between the world of tea and the world of fragrances. Tea and perfumes have been traditionally always been kept apart, but State of Mind offers a new approach to both universes that appear to be very complimentary. The brand offers a unique olfactory experience, which takes place in the Olfactory Tea Room.
The creator of this concept is Catherine Laskine-Balandina. In 2015, she decided to create State of Mind to express her
creativity and her vision of the world. She worked in the Beauty industry for 15 years. This encouraged her to found her own brand to escape the restrictions imposed by globalization and commercialization.
Having grown up in Russia, she has a strong emotional link to this mysterious country, which is reflected in different aspects of the brand. She is a great traveler; travelling is part of her lifestyle and this also reflects in the brand’s DNA.
Catherine's love for France is conveyed in many ways such as the elegance of the Art Deco style, which accompanies all the collection and the experience in the world of perfumes.
