L’Antica Erboristeria e Spezieria San Simone is one of the oldest herbalist’s in Florence. Opened in the early 18th century, its recipes, kept strictly secret, follow the writings of an old friar, a friend of the family of herbalists that ran this shop for centuries, and the studies of natural remedies carried out by its current owner Fernanda Russo. For Pitti Fragranze, Dr. Russo, herbalist and “nose” of Antica Erboristeria e Spezieria San Simone, will be presenting some of her new creations, as well as the ambitious Italian Perfume School project, a place for training young new fragrance designers. Event from 4 pm to 7 pm.
