Sonia Constant is the master perfumer of the renowned Swiss manufacturer Givaudan and has worked for Kenzo, Burberry, Valentino, Van Cleef & Arpels, Victor & Rolf and Liquides Imaginaires. In 2017 Sonia decided to create a brand of her own: an ode to women blending travel and poetry, physical and metaphysical places... From this background the Parisian creator presents unisex fragrances that incorporate in a liquid form the essence of her journeys. Her own brand takes form derived from Ella: as Ella Maillart nineteen thirties iconic traveler, author of travel journals and stories of female solo adventures, and K as Kučera - the Czech surname of Sonia's maternal grandfather.

Among Ella K creations, the remarkable Brumes De Khao-Sok (fog of khao-sok) that is in fact an olfactory tale from the trip to the Khao Sok National Park in Thailand, in which gardenia, lily and green-gray packaging’s palettes throw us back to Thailand’s misty exotic atmosphere. Above all, we should mention the particularly opportune scent Baiser de Florence, the kiss of Florence, which recalls the incense of Florentine churches, the iris of the hills and the smell of ancient stone.

"A woman, every woman, an adventurer, whether fantastic or real, the woman we would like to be and only existing in the dreams of those who explore emotions and the immaterial" says Sonia Constant about Ella K.
